⚓ Meet Josh McCabe
Josh McCabe proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Sonar Technician Surface, operating advanced sonar systems with the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS) at NAS Whidbey Island in support of anti-submarine warfare missions.
With over three years of sea service, Josh deployed to the Persian Gulf, providing security for ABOT off the coast of Iraq. As a Master Helmsman, he navigated Navy ships through the Straits of Hormuz during critical fleet operations.
He later served at MARMC Norfolk in the legal office, working alongside JAG as a Command Legal Rep, where he supported hundreds of cases under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). His dedication earned him multiple commendations, including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, and three Navy “E” Ribbons for battle efficiency.
Today, Josh is the host of a show that blends military humor with the real-world challenges veterans face when transitioning from service to the civilian workforce. With a strong focus on mental health, he uses storytelling and comedy to shine a light on the struggles and victories of transition—and to help fight against veteran suicide.
